Aurora Outlet Shop_2013
For this project, made during my second year of the Bachelor at Politecnico di Torino, the client Aurora Pens made a request to renovate the former caretaker’s apartment at the headquarters of the company, located on Abbadia di Stura Road in Settimo Torinese, and turn it into a store that would host both the outlet and high range products. The space was very small, 60 square meters in total, and the request was to functionally combine the sales areas with the exhibition of the products, all with Aurora’s classic elegant style, in order to have a store that welcomes the customers by providing the easy management of the spaces by the salesclerk. A fundamental aspect of the Exhibit and Retail project concerns the study of light, both natural and artificial, in the sense that it is an essential element for the enjoyment and appreciation of the object on display and for ensuring the best conditions for visual comfort, as well as highlighting the colors and materials in the environment.
